This week the Academy held its annual WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits Graduation Dinner. Forty people attend Restaurant Hubert in Sydney to celebrate the latest students to graduate with their Diploma in Wines and Spirits.
Jude Mullins, International Development Director, represented WSET and presented the awards to the following recipients:

Later in the evening Sally Evans, Chair KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show Committee, presented the KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show 2018 Top Student Award. This is awarded to the graduate with the top mark in the practical examination for Unit 3 “Light wines of the World” in the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits conducted by the Sydney Wine Academy. This year the award went to Gerard Bellis. Gerard will now have the opportunity of becoming an Associate Judge at the 2019 KPMG Sydney Royal Wine Show.
Angus Barnes, Chair, Wine Communicators of Australia also announced that all graduates would receive a one year complimentary membership to the organisation.
