Responding to a request from the wine and spirit industry the Sydney Wine Academy will run our WSET Award Level 2 course in Canberra during August this year.

Working with our industry sponsor Regional Wine and Beverage Merchants the WSET Level 2  course will be conducted over 3 consecutive Mondays starting on 14 August.  The course will be run out of the Australian Academy of Science in Acton. 

"We've noticed alot of  students taking the long trek up from Canberra to do our courses in Sydney, so there is a demand for high quality wine education in the region" said Clive Hartley, Course Director.

This is confirmed by local wine businessman Bill Mason,  “We were constantly asked by people working in our hospitality industry where they could be trained and educated in wine and spirits.  So we were pleased to invite the Sydney Wine Academy to conduct the internationally recognised WSET Award Level 2 course in Canberra, and we are proud to be sponsors of this educational initiative.”
